My Weekend

     This weekend I am going to Memphis, Tennessee for a baseball tournament. I am leaving right after school on Friday. My dad said that it will take 4 to 41/2 hours to get to Memphis. We are staying in a Hyatt hotel. I have never heard about that type of hotel but I heard it is very nice. I has a swimming pool for us to cool down after games. We will be garneted to play 4 games, but I hope we play 5 or more game this weekend. I hope we make it to the championship so that we can win our first tournament. I also heard that the fields are awesome.

Something That Bugs Me is Homework

The Reason that I don't like homework is that we do enough work in school, why should we have to do more on our own free time. Also don't make the homework to hard or too much. I hate it when a teacher gives you homework with like 50 problem on the weekend that is WAY too much for us to do when we want to do something on the weekends. I thin it should be against the law to have homework on Fridays. Then on week days almost every  teacher gives you homework and you are like, "ain't nobody got time for dat."

Six Flags

Last weekend I went to Six Flags. It was really fun and the weather was really good too. The first ride I rode was Batman, one of my favorite ride, has three flips and about four cork screws. I rode Batman about 9 times. Then I Rode Pandemonium witch was really fun too. The cart spins while you are doing turns. Then I rode the Ninja 8 times and the Ninja is really jerky. The Ninja has two flips.

Kid Nation 7

   There is some deviance in Kid nation. Greg used to be deviance because he was trying to run everything in the city. Now he has change to being one of the better people in the city. He won a gold star once and the council even said how much he has changed. He is now respected by many people in the city.
  
    In this show there was a primary deviance. Jarred flipped  out because there was a girl who was selling free food and flipped her stand over and made a mess. After he did that he apologized what he did and the girl said that it was ok. Know I think  that he will never do that again.

    Most of the people in  the city are deviant. Most people follow the rules like they are suppose to do. There are really only like a few people that don't follow the rules. When the people that do follow the rules don't have a problem with the council. You can make a lot of friend by being deviant.

Kid Nation 6

      The council has rationalization. They have to think together to make dissections for the city. Like the made the choice for people to pick to help clean up the city. Taylor got picked but she didn't do it. The council punishment was that she had to get water for the people and she didn't even do that.
   
      The council has the Iron law of oligarchy. They make all the choices for the city. They make the bed time and time to get up. Like they agreed with the idea that every person in the city has to go get water so they can fill up the water tower. That was huge because the first water was dirty now it is clean.
      There are informal organization in Kid Nation. The groups are like people that agree in the same religion. They had one show where they got religious book. They read the books every day so they have a connection. That is really the only connection they have together except outside activity's.  

Kids Nation 5

     One big thing in Kid Nation is conflict. Yellow has a lot of conflict with the yellow group because they are very bad at being the cooks. Every day the kids have to yell at most of the yellow team because they aren't making the food for them to eat. There is going to be a big conflict with the council member. They are going to re elect the council members. When the red team had no conflict with the council change.

     There are four five groups in Kid Nation. There are yellow, blue, green, red, and the council. There are big groups in size  like red and blue. Then they're small groups in size like green and yellow. So it is easier for red and blue to win the challenges that help with strength. Then there are thinking games that help with thinking and not strength.

     Social network is in Kid Nation. Some of the people are social network by religion. Some people are catholic, Jews, and Muslims. That is how most people are connective because that is how they relate with each other. They finally got religious books for everybody to read about their religion.      

Kids Nation 4

     One of the main obligation is the cooking team, so everybody can eat and not be hungry. If the cook don't do good, or waist the food then the pioneers will be mad because the food doesn't get used right for them to eat. So far there has been no problem with the food on day 11 so that is a good sigh that the green team is doing a good job. The green team is cleaning the dishes so they can make the food with clean dishes. On day 12 the green team still had no trouble making the food.
     
     Social interaction is used when the pioneers are talking about there religious groups . There are christens and Jews in the show so they should try to do it separate. The conical decided to do one huge mass but the pioneers didn't like that at all. When the conical tried to get people to go to the mass nobody wanted to come because they didn't want to do a different religion. Some of the pioneers are trying to convince a conical member to do separate mass for each religion.

     The role is huge in this show. One of the roles is the cleaning group. The cleaning group is big because they don't want the bathrooms to be dirty and smelling weird. On this show the green team is the cleaning and they do a good job so the city will be clean. Nobody wants to have a dirty room or living area.             

The Worlds Poorest President

     The worlds poorest president lives in Uruguay and he makes $12,500 per year. The reason why he is so poor is that he donates 90% of his money to charity. I think that is a smart thing to do to be a president because you are helping your country with something that he does with his own money. I also think that people should respect that because he is helping the country he runs and trying to help everyone in his country.

My Easter Weekend

 On Thursday, the beginning of my Easter weekend, I was hanging out with my friends outside. We were playing wifleball and playing catch with a football. On Friday, I had a baseball game up in Chesterfield. We lost 6-4, but we played really good. On Saturday, I had to umpire at the little league fields for opening day. Then I had to go to church in Desoto with my cousin Kevin. Then on Easter I was riding four wheelers.

Kids Nation 3

      In Kid Nation you need a lot of  socialization. You need a lot of socialization because so you can compromise with each other. Like when at the end of the show the town consul try to change things that the people in the town think they should change. If they didn't do that then I think there will be a lot of angry people in the town. Like in this episode Greg was causing a people weren't like it so they need to tell him to stop.
  
      Also in Kid Nation they suffer from delocalization. You need that because you not use to just getting hot water easily and getting food at Walmart. They use that by when they need water so they need to go the faucet. They weren't even making breakfast the yellow team was just messing around so they r using up there supplies so then they will have to delocalization. So that's why they souldnt use up all there supplies so they dint have to make there own.

      The council need reverence group so they can make rules. They made a rule that they need a new bedtime so they had a meeting to tell everybody the new rule. They need to make a cursing rule too Greg was cursing and little kids weren't liking it. They need rules because the town would be very out of control. Like the bad kids would be running all over the place.      

Kid Nation 2

     The consular need a morals so that the city isn't going to be out of control like it was at the begging of the show. The town should have rules anyway because the consular don't want to have kids running around and not going to sleep on time to be ready in the morning activities. Also so nobody gets hurt too.

Values is important by when they do there jobs so the kids don't starve like when the green team had to pour water on the facet because the facet was frozen. If the city doesn't have water than they cant make the food for the kids. The green team had to clean up the toilets so it doesn't stink.  

Formal sanction by when the kids do the compositions to see what there jobs are and the reward is if the kids get there challenge completed then they get to chose an award between two prizes one is for fun and the other one is to help the city jobs around. The challenge this week was they had to get water to make a water wheel to spin, but they had obstacle's to go through which made it hard. The blue team won this week in the challenge.    

My Weekend

This weekend I had a baseball tournament in O'Fallon, Illinois. On Saturday in our first game we won 8-0 against the O'Fallon Bomber. On our last game on Saturday we played the Colombia Eagles we tied at 5-5. On Sunday in a baseball tournament when you loose you are out of the tournament. On our first game we won 8-2 against the Colombia Eagles. Then we played the hittmen and lost 12-4.

Kids Nation 1

       Kids Nation is a show were kid are made to live like the western. They use a lot of social structures by when they don't have ac because they are trying to live the older times. Some of the kids complained about the beds because they were used to the nice soft beds instead of the 1inch think beds. The cooks have to burn the wood to cook and they are used to turning on a stove and being able to cook right  away.     

        They have to have a capitalists because they need money to buy things. The things they can buy is soda from the root bear store, but some people can get more soda if they make more money. They can more  buy candy from the candy store if they have more money.    

      They need power to control each other and keep every one calm. Again when Greg started spray painting the dorms spelling blue team everybody got mad at him and his friend. So the council told them not to do that because they have the power to control Greg and his friend. They need power to control things when something goes wrong.

Dear Mrs. Debolt,

        Hi am Zach Baisch and I am in your 2nd hour class. Stuff that I like is sports. The sports that I like are baseball and football. In  the next two paragraph I will telling you why I like those two sports.

       The reasons I like baseball is I have been playing baseball since I was five years old. I enjoy baseball because baseball is my favorite sport. Baseball is my favorite sport because it is the sport I put the most time into and that is the sport I'm the best at. I had always loved baseball.
   
        My other topic is about football. I had played football when I was 8 years old and still playing. Football is my second favorite sport behind baseball. I enjoy football because of the adrenaline when you hit another play or make a good catch or make a sack. That is why I enjoy football.

       I have always enjoyed technology. I enjoy playing on the computer. I enjoy playing on the computer because I have always like electronics. I hope you learned something about me.

Do Video Games Make Kid More Violent?

When I here the question do video games make kids more violent I think that some games can cause littler kids from ages 7-11years old can cause kids to be more violent. Most of the games that cause kids to be more violent is the killing games like Call of Duty and Monderwarfare. The violet's can also be cause by if the kids get persuaded  easily by things they see.
