       Coach Dawson's grandson died last night. He was diognosed with cancer when he was born. This made alot of people sad. I found out this morning and almost cried. Alot of the volleyball players cried. They have shirts representing Dawson. They wore them because they wanted to. After the volleyball game, someone got a phone call saying Dawson died. everyone cried. All he ever knew his life as is to be in pain and he was only 2 years old. Mrs.Debolt just recently had a baby. Imagine how much she  would cry if she lost her child due to cancer. No one deserves to die from cancer. I'm sorry little man. Mrs. Dawson, stay strong.

Good Things About Technology This Quarter

Some things I liked about technology was  that you let  us play games if we got our work done. I also thought it was nice that you let us listen to music. I learned how type fast and my WPMincreased a lot. Some things  I didn't like was I know it's not your fault but the computer broke a couple times so I had to do my work all over again. It was the computers fault. I remember when we watched a movie about what a computer really was. The cursor was animated. That was funny. I'm excited for next years course and I feel bad that 2nd quarter won't really be able to see you because you will be in the hospital. And by the way congrats!!

Should P.E be Mandatory?

In my opinion, P.E should not be mandatory.Why do I think this? Because some people have problems with there breathing. I don't like to run. Maybe depending on how much we go outside, we could just go out and be active and play games. The kids who a little bigger than others need the running. Some peoples strengths are not running. For example, mine. I know a lot of people my age in cross country and they ask me why i didn't do it. My reply is simply "I don't like to run." I have 2 brothers and I'm outside with them a lot. I also know some lazy people who play video games and eat potato chips and there not going to have a girl friend in high school. He'll be a nerd and he knows it.

I'm a cheerleader for Festus Middle School. In our First football game against hillsboro, we did all the cheers we learned. We did lose, but that's okay. While we were doing our We Got Spirit cheer,Mr.Kinder( the health teacher) was the announcer and he was in the room doing it too! I couldn't help but laugh. It was so much fun. In our second game,against Windsor, we won! but Mr. Kinder wasn't the announcer:(  In our prep assembly, we did the We Got Spirit cheer and everyone was getting up and cheering along! Cheer leading is a lot of fun and I'm definitely trying out next year!

If I Had 100 Dollars.

If I had $100.00, I would buy food for the abused kids who got there parents taken away.I would buy food for them so they could eat a healthy meal. I've seen very sad movies about how the abused kids live. They displease me. The abused kids cannot help that they are orphans. I'm sure they dont  want to be. I'm not sure why These things happen but sadly, they do. I wish people would treat other people the way hey want to be treated.

New video game!

A new video game came out a few days ago, Gear Of War 3. I went to gamestop to go get a copy but they were all sold out! So then we went to wallmart, thankfully they had 2 copys left. The multiplayer is awsome! i havent started the story line yet because, i have been playing online for two days strait! I also got on youtube the other day and subscribed to this guys channel, and last night i got a message from him, and he told me i won a DVD of all his video for being his 10th subscriber! Yeah!

 For Halloween I'm going to be dressing as a zombie. We might have a haunted house in my garage. If we do, my brother and I decided to take 30 minute/1 hour shifts between the haunted house and trick or treating.My brother is also going to be a zombie. If my dad approves, I'm having a Halloween party.  My grandma is doing a huge part of Halloween. She has the materials for the haunted house/garage because she has done it before .She also offered to sew my zombie costume together. Halloween this year will be like no other!

Helping Others, While Others Help Me.

I have got helped in many ways. One of them is in my sports. I get spot in backtucks. In my first year of dance, I learned from a instuctor how to do a pull-back. Everyday I get help from teachers with work. I ask a lot of questions. I have helped many people as well. There was a guy one year, and he got teased around alot. I stood up for him , and told the bully to stop. He hasn't bullied since. Bulling is against the law. I felt amazing after i stood up for him. He is VERY happy now.My mom is a handicapped teacher. She works at YMCA. During the summer, she helps with a program called St.Louis Arc. I get my helping skills from her.

Tomorrow I'm going to the dance with my friends.I forgot to turn in the sheet so I'm going to ask Mrs.Davis my paws teacher if i can have another day.I know that Noah H and i think Samantha S is going so ya I'm going to go to the dance I ask my mom my if she could write a note but she thought i was lying. So the note thing did not work out. my friend got his signed bit he forgot his money.i left my binder at home so I forgot my sheet.On Wednesday we went to the Rachael's channeled it is about a girl who did in the Americas worst school shooting.

Well, I've had a very busy week. Monday was the volleyball game for Festus 7th graders. Tuesday was the only free day I had. Wednesday we had the Rachel's Challenge assembly and at the end of the day, we had our prep assembly. Then later that night, i went to open gym at Flipside too.Today is the 8th grade boys' first home football game! and I'm so happy I get to be a part of it.I have cheer Monday through Thursday until 4:30.Tomorrow, we have our Back To School dance.GO TIGERS!!!Very Exciting.Eh?

9/11 was a very bad tragedy. Two men were caught crashing into the twin towers in New York. At first, everyone thought it was a accident, until the second plane hit.thousands of people died that day. W hen I asked about it (to my mom), she said she remembers her mother(my grandma) balling her eyes out. The two men were terrorist in attack. It was a suicidal attack so there was honestly nothing we could do about it. There were people in the 360 ft. tall building. They had the decision of jumping out the window or burning to death. People looked like they could have been covered by a magic ice lady because of all the smoke filled on/in peoples body's.Some people stood out the window waving shirts until they decided to jump. Just imaging how hard you would hit the ground. Those people had family's. They had a big decision of which way they wanted to die.There was people that died from the smoke as well.Why would you ask? Because some people are horrible.

Inside of school, I try very hard . When I put my mind up to something I never give up. It is the same after school when I practice singing,dancing,tumbling and cheering. I have going on in my life. Everyday besides Friday cheer practice 2:25PM until 4:30PM . Then Wednesdays tumbling until 8:30 PM . I sing because I want to and my family and friends say I'm good. I love hanging out with friends. Summer!!!!

I can't wait for summer this year because I get to play a lot of softball. I will get to travel to lots of different places, and hopefully I will get to go to Kansas City, and many more places. This year I hope we get to go on vacation also. Well, tomorrow is Six Flags, and it is going top be so fun when we get done singing! We will sound amazing, I think the judges will be amazed at what we do. After we get done singing we get to ride the rides for the rest of the day. This is the funnest thing to do.I just can't wait for summer to come, only 10 more days of school! This school year has went by really fast this year! I hope the fun never stops. Well I know I have many things to do in the summer, and I hope this summer never ends!

Mrs. Debolt's Computer Class

In Mrs. Debolt's computer class I have learned many new things. I have learned how to do citations, I learned about blogging, and I learned how to give credit to other websites I use to get facts on. I wouldn't want to change anything in this class because Mrs. Debolt teaches new things every day. This class was really fun for me because this year because I had the chance to express my self. I also improved on my speed on my typing. I can type almost 40 words per minute! Thank you Mrs. Debolt for teaching me new things in life that I will need someday!

Working Hard

I would say working hard would make me the best success in what I do because if I work hard then I get all of my work done. working hard shows your personality, and if you are lazy or not. Working hard shows you do not quit at anything you do. One time I was in the classroom, and the teacher told me I was working very consistent, and I was working very hard. If you work hard at everything you do, nobody will misjudge you. Work very hard, even though you don't want to. You will get better jobs, and a lot more money.

Last weekend I had a softball tournament, and it was really fun. Even though we lost all of our games except for one, it was really fun to play. I pitched last weekend, and I did awesome! Our team had a lot of errors, but I am sure we can fix those. I went up to pitching last night, and I did really good. At the softball tournament, almost the whole entire time it rained, and I had to pitch in it. Pitching in the rain is really hard to do because the softball will slip out of your hand sometimes. I am really glad I am a pitcher, and it is really fun to do. I hope our team wins our next tournament, I want to take home a trophy, or medals!!! Our team is capable of winning, but the errors kill us! Let's get a win Black Ice!!!!!

Words Hurt, Watch What You Say

No, no one has wrote anything rude to me. I have never sent a text message, or email to someone. If I was in that situation I would try to resolve it by trying to discuss what happened, and try to explain on both sides what happened. I would also apologize to them, and tell them I didn't mean what I said. I would do anything to straighten out the situation. I have never sent a rude message to anyone. After the situation, I would learn that words can be taken the wrong way. I would never send another message like that again. Now that I made that mistake, now I know I should be careful about what I say, or what I do. I will always be cautious with my actions, and what I say or what I do on the Internet, or technology.

I HAVE BEEN PLAYING SOFTBALL SINCE I WAS THREE YEARS OLD> I love softball< and nobody can take it away from me> Softball is my favorite sport< and I play first base< outfield< and i play pitcher> I have been pitching since I was seven years old> Pitching is hard to do< but its worth it> I love being a pitcher because the pitcher controls the game> Softball makes me really happy< and I will never stop playing softball> Softball takes years to do< and you have to learn alot to be able to play the game right> I think a lot of people should get active in softball> I will love and play softball forever!

How I find out about the weather is watching the news, and looking the weather up on the Internet. The news has to be accurate for me because I play alot of sports, and I have to know if the games are canceled, or I have to make sure I am safe.Some ways that my activities or plans are affected are my softball games could get rained out. The zoo could be closed because of severe weather. My friends couldn't come over because maybe there was a bad hail storm. Bad weather can cancel a lot of things. They do this for our safety though, and it's for our own good. Always make sure you are safe during a storm, and watch the news. Flooding is also a problem, and this destroys homes. Make sure you stay safe in all kinds of weather, and we should all be glad for the kind of technology we have today.

What Booker T. Washington meant by that quote is when you are down, and you want to make your self happy again make someone else feel good about themselves. You should make sure you and your friends are always happy, not sad. Be a role model  for other people, and make sure everyone is enjoying life, not hating it. I have felt really sad before, and I have seen one of my friends being sad. Then I comforted my friend, and I told my friend it would be ok. I chose to bring my friend back up to happiness.

I have one little sister named Makenzie. She is 6 years old, and she plays softball, and she pitches. I play softball, basketball, cross country, and I run track and field. I had a choir concert on Saturday, and we sounded amazing! I had so much fun going up to Windsor to perform. I love singing, it is so fun, and I could do it all the time. Tomorrow is our Spring concert, and I am really excited! We will sound so good tomorrow, and I think all the parents will love it! I play on a softball team called Black Ice, and the positions I play are pitcher, first base, sometimes third base, and I play outfield. I really love sports, and they are a big part of my life.
